Description
Loctite® technology strengthens the assembly of two or more parts by filling all the space between mating surfaces with a single-component liquid which chemically self-hardens at room temperature into a tough heat-and-solvent-resistant structural solid. From among the various types of products, the most common products are listed below. Retains high flexibility and oil resistance for longer gasket life. Temperature range is –59°C to 329°C (–75°F to 625°F) intermittent. Low odor, non-corrosive, low volatility. Resistant to most chemicals and solvents. Fill gaps to 6.35mm (0.25’’). Typical applications include oil pans, transmission pans, valve covers, valves and guides, timing gear covers, and differential covers.
